3D/4D Ultrasound

Seriously, technology is craaaaaaaaaazy. Right?!

I even have video clips of her in 4D moving around in my belly. For being so far along, she seems like she had a lot of room in there. The technician was saying her face was up against my placenta that's why she could get really clear shots. But I dunno... this looks pretty darn clear to me! I can't wait to meet her!

Another Baby Shower :)

Yup, another one! I knew about this one tho. It was a very small family get together at my in-law's house. We had so much fun. Great company, games were fun, and prizes were fricken awesome. Like coffee makers, electronic wine openers, mini grills, kitchen gadgets, etc. Because of that, people were getting so competitive with the games, trying their best to win. Lol.

Hubby and I at the baby shower <3 I'm so swollen! lol

Anyway here are some random pics of the gifts just laying around baby's room. Do not mind the mess! I have so much to do to that room, I'm having an anxiety attack just thinking about it. It is in a lot better condition now, but I won't post pictures of the room until everything is set up.

Diapers! We got a load of them :)
Scored with the Cinnamon Girl gear!

Some outfits

This is filled with clothes, blankets, etc. Double score!
I am so appreciative for everything my family did for us!! They so didn't need to, but they did. Baby scored a lot necessities. We were able to get everything else we need for baby with gift cards and monetary gifts. Looks like we are all set! I just need to get this room together.

MESS MESS MESS MESS MESS MESS MESS MESS MESS
Carmen's clothes are out of control She takes up the whole closet, plus a little drawer and the closet shelving. I already transferred most of her clothes into a brand new dresser we got for her, which gave me half the closet to use for baby. Carmen's dresses and jackets are still hanging in the closet and taking up half the space in there. We also have to put up wall shelving, set up the crib (once it gets shipped here), and find space for all the "little things." I already organized all of Carmen's toys and really downsized on her collection. Like I said, I will post pictures of the room once everything is DONE. It's hard trying to fit two girls in one small bedroom, but we will make it work :)

I Found Baby's Going Home Outfit!

I've been looking for a matching "Big Sis" & "Little Sis" outfit for some time now. Saw a few cute ones on Etsy, but I held off hoping I'd find some in person. And I did! At good 'ol Babies R Us :)
Aren't these so cute?!!

Of course I got the Lil Sis onesie in a size 0-3 months, perfect as the going home outfit. I'll probably pair it with a cardigan and leggings and a cute head band :) And for Carmen she got the Big Sis shirt in her size and she'll probably want to pair it with a bottom that doesn't match at all! LOL. That's my Carmen :) I just let her do her thang.

MAC & Sephora Haul

Went to the mall yesterday to pick up some goodies :)

MAC was the first foundation I ever owned. Way back in high school I had the Studio Fix Powder and from what I remember I liked it, but eventually strayed away and ventured into other brands as my love for makeup expanded. I confess, I also purposely stayed away from MAC foundations because I'd hear of how they broke people out and how it looked cakey and yada yada yada. But here I am, 10+ years later, and only now making my way back to MAC's foundation. I did pick up the Studio Fix again, but this time the Fluid version. And now my shade is an NC42!! Holy tan! I swear I used to be in the 30's.

My previous foundations were Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Mat Velvet+. Both are full coverage foundations, and for both, I never had an exact skin match. I had to bend and get the closest one. I hate that. For the MAC Studio Fix, I swear NC42 couldn't get more perfect as far as a match. As far as coverage, it covers my flaws waaaaaaaay more. I can't believe I'm posting a close up of my skin for the world to see, but here goes...
Barf! I know. Well anyhoo, you can see it covered my freckles and pimples fairly well, and this was only two thin applications of the Studio Fix. I'm sure if I packed it on, I could have gotten a heavier coverage. Sorry, this picture is gross, it looked a lot better on a NON-closeup. I didn't even use a concealer on the blemishes either. Pretty good huh?!

Back to the haul, I also picked up MAC's Select Cover Up in NW35 and it did pretty well in covering up my dark circles under the eye. It's a thin, watery consistency, but covers well and dries very matte. I hate when concealers dry with a sheen. Really, what's the point of that?! If anything, it draws more attention to the flaws rather then concealing them.

I also picked up MAC's lipstick in Fast Play. It's the Amplified formula and I love how pigmented it is. On me the color wears as a Brownish Mauve with a Pinkish undertone. This could be an everyday color for me.

Went to Sephora and picked up two MUFE Rouge Artist Intense lipsticks in 20 and 32. MUFE lipsticks are well pigmented but it doesn't glide on very smoothly. I feel like I had to really work the lipstick back and forth to get an even application. It also feels just a tad sticky on the lips. Other than that, I can't complain.

MUFE Rouge Artist Instense 20 is described as a "pearly rust" and it's a BEAUTIFUL color the pictures just don't do it justice. Really, go swatch it at Sephora and you will see how beautiful it is in person. It's a rust color with gold color glitter reflects in it. So pretty. This is my new favorite shade. Again, these pics are just Meh. It shows as a red in the pictures.

MUFE Rouge Artist 32 is described as a "satin soft pink" and it's just that. It was definitely a color I was missing in my collection. All of my pinks seem to be wild, vibrant pinks. This is more of an everyday pink. I'm diggin' it.

Surprise Baby Shower!!

Talk about being surprised!! Seriously, I think this is the first legit surprise in my entire life. Every time someone tries to plan something without me knowing I always find out. I was surprised that I was surprised. Lol. Does that make sense??

I didn't even expect a shower being that I already have a child, so I was so touched and appreciative that all of my girlfriends came together to celebrate the new life inside of me :) I really was touched. Their company was more than enough. But of course I did score some super cool baby stuff such as blankets, towels, wash cloths, bikinis, as well as some necessities such as diapers, bottle liners, pacifiers, etc. Did also get some cash for baby and a gift card. Sweet! Thanks to all of my ladies. Seriously someone get pregnant so I can plan a shower for one of YOU!!

This time around I'm going to try to save everything. Car seat, strollers, crib, clothes, etc., and whoever has a girl next will get all of my stuff (if they want it). I heard of friends doing community baby gear, clothes, as well as maternity wear. Just pass it on to whoever needs it next. Think of it as my version of "Going Green" :) I think I'm going to spearhead this project as long as I have the space to store everything.

New Blog... again

Trying this out again...
This blog will just be a general blog about ME. My life as a mom and a wife, and it'll feature all the things I love such as makeup, shopping, and photography, as well as projects and general things I'm doing. Generally a general blog :-p
I promise to keep it as exciting as possible.
